on the table.
A complimentary, one-hour discovery meeting with Rich LoPresti—by Zoom, or in person in Milford, Connecticut. We’ll discuss your goals, retirement accounts and the questions worth examining.
This meeting is for people with at least $750,000 in tax-deferred retirement accounts. There is no separate total-assets requirement.
We will discuss what further analysis may be useful. This introductory conversation is not a completed financial plan or tax projection.

Before you book
A conversation should start with clear expectations.
You do not need to know the right financial terminology. Start with the decision on your mind.
Can we talk about whether I can retire—and what I could spend?
Yes. Bring your intended retirement date, spending goals and main concerns. Discovery helps us understand the question and the information needed to assess it. A personalized spending answer requires analysis; the introductory meeting is not a completed retirement plan.
What does this meeting cost? Am I committing to anything?
The one-hour discovery meeting is complimentary, with no obligation to become a client. If you consider working with Milestone afterward, the proposed services, fees and agreement would be addressed separately. Ask what is included, how fees are calculated and what the agreement says about ending the relationship before deciding.
What if I already have an advisor or a CPA?
You can bring a specific question about how your investments, taxes and retirement income fit together. Booking discovery does not require transferring accounts or ending an existing professional relationship. We will discuss what further analysis may be useful, not assume a change is necessary.
Do I need every document ready before booking?
No. Statements, your most recent filed tax return and Social Security information are helpful when available. After booking, use the secure upload instructions—not ordinary email—for sensitive documents. Missing paperwork should not prevent an initial conversation. See the preparation guide →
Can we discuss a decision that is coming up soon?
Yes—tell us about the deadline and the decision, whether it concerns retirement, a rollover, a maturing investment or a major purchase. Explain what needs an answer first. Discovery does not replace the analysis needed before acting, and urgent deadlines do not guarantee that analysis can be completed in time.
What happens after discovery?
We identify which questions merit further analysis and discuss an appropriate next step. That may include gathering missing information or considering a separate advisory engagement. You will not be asked to treat this initial conversation as a prescribed Roth conversion or a finished financial plan.
